in writing . – I have voted for the report on the proposal for a regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on requirements relating to emission limits and type-approval for internal combustion engines for non-road mobile machinery, as it addresses adequately the public health concern created by studies indicating ultra-fine particles as a carcinogenic substance. Today, several EU urban areas do not fully meet the air quality standards. This issue is growing as more people are attracted to life in urban conglomerations. The report is trying to solve those problems.
