in writing. — We voted in favour of the agenda item under the title ‘Common rules for exports’ because we believe that the proposal is a straightforward codification of existing texts, without any change in their substance. Through these rules the Union will exercise surveillance over certain exports and the protective measures will be introduced as a safeguard against unforeseen practices.
