in writing. - I have voted for the report of Mr Pabriks as I find it as one of the key answers to the crisis that the EU is facing. The proposal will enable the three agencies to support national authorities and to act jointly and effectively to help national authorities to carry out monitoring, security and surveillance operations by supplying equipment and training, exchanging of information and providing the necessary coordination of multidimensional operations. This cooperation is essential in the current context of major cross-border migration flows, which call for increased material and human solidarity on the part of the EU.
