in writing. ‒ I have voted for the motion for a resolution on the Transatlantic flows as it raises the issues of data protection with regards to data flows. Though innovation will be incremental for the EU’s future, we need a solid legal framework protecting our data from being abused. This motion for a resolution raises the concerns of our people. We should always have in mind that if a true Digital Single Market is to be achieved, the trust of the citizens will be the cornerstone.
