"Digital Europe:
Research and Innovation for Enterprise – the SMEs, the priority of EU for Growth"
Eva Kaili, MEP, Head of the Greek Socialists & Democrats Delegation has the honor to invite you to an open informative discussion about Innovation and the SMEs, about the Digital and Funding Tools provided by EU and the Support of the Growth and Employment, on Friday, March 4th 2016, 16.00 hours, at Makedonia Palace Hotel in Thessaloniki.
The internet and digital technologies are transforming our world. But existing barriers online mean citizens miss out on goods and services, internet companies and start-ups have their horizons limited, and businesses and governments cannot fully benefit from digital tools. It's time to make the EU's single market fit for the digital age – tearing down regulatory walls and moving from 28 national markets to a single one. This could contribute €415 billion per year to our economy and create hundreds of thousands of new jobs.
Graduates, young entrepreneurs, start-ups, SME’s owners and unemployed citizens are invited to this informative discussion. The speakers who will participate are representatives of Public Administration, Education, Research and Innovation Institutions, Chambers and of Private Initiatives.
