In recent weeks the crisis that has engulfed the Turkish economy has led to a significant depreciation of the Turkish lira, which has lost much of its value.

This development has significantly affected the export value of Turkish products, particularly agricultural products, giving them a significant advantage over European — including Greek — products as they become much cheaper.
Can the Commission say:
1. Is it possible to provide extraordinary additional financial assistance to farmers and producers suffering from the unfair competition from Turkish products?
2. What other possibilities does the Commission have to address the adverse consequences for European farmers and producers of the devaluation of the Turkish lira?
