in writing. ‒ Over the last years we have been facing a number of challenges. The crises in multiple areas of the world, terrorism, radicalization, are only some of the problems that Europe needs to address. Dr. Pascu's approach is moving towards the right direction. A thorough and substantial revision of the CSDP is needed in order to enable the EU and its Member States to contribute in a decisive way to the security of the Union, to the management of international crises and to asserting the EU’s strategic autonomy; recalls that no country can face the current security challenges on its own.
