in writing. ‒ I have supported the report of MEP Vergiat as it is of utmost importance to make sure that the human rights of migrants and refugees are respected across Europe. What is equally important is that the Member States understand the complexity of the issue and cooperate, so as to help the Member States receiving the refugees and immigrants by allowing the relocation mechanism to function. It is a collective approach that we need to adopt.
